Mina Pipes Smooth Reverse Calabash Apple w/Boxwood Estate Briar Pipe, Unsmoked

Description

This particular pipe came to us with a batch of new old stock (NOS) pipes from a store closure a few states over. Based on what I was able to research, the Mina company runs a pipe workshop in China, not unlike HS Studio or GH Zhang, which produces a number of different makes based on the style of pipe. This one has a little of the Muscovite and St Petersburg schools to it, being a short, muscular apple shape, with a boxwood inlay and a reverse calabash in its shank. On the other hand, there’s a definite blending of other styles, with this rendition adding a little more color to the mix.

This pipe is completely unsmoked and comes with its original sleeve. I note a couple of worn out fills, which have been factored into the price.
