Description

Orlik was an English pipe manufacturer founded in 1899 by Louis Orlik. While originally the company’s mission was to produce low-cost pipes, the make would ultimately be known for the distinctly high quality of their products. Consequently, Orlik pipes are today a favorite among pipe smokers and collectors, especially those who prefer the hobby’s Great British classics.

This Orlik is a long and lovely stack billiard, dressed in a golden brown stain and fitted with a vulcanite stem. It should make for a fantastic flake pipe, while its light weight will also make it comfortable for clenching for most. While dating Orlik pipes is notorious difficult, the nomenclature suggests that this pipe was made prior to Orlik’s merger with Cadogan Investments, making it a real collector’s piece.

The condition is very good. There’s a little rim darkening and finish wear, but this is superficial.
