Description

The MBSD Meerschaum Silver is our line of silver mounted meerschaum pipes. Using the same high-grade, fast-coloring Turkish meerschaum found on our Deluxe series, these pipes exclusively feature silver army mounts or spigot mounts.

While it may look decidedly modern, this particular Silver line meerschaum was modeled on much older meerschaum pipes from the 19th century. It takes the form of a long, slender, paneled horn, a shape that briar pipes would only catch up with many decades later, via post-war freehand carving techniques. As with the most classic meerschaums of centuries gone by, it features a sterling silver mount, as well as an imitation horn acrylic stem to complete its eminently traditional aesthetic.
