TC Fuller Handmade Smooth Straight Apple Estate Briar Pipe, USA [SOLD OUT]

Out of stock

Description

Tim Fuller was an American artisan pipe-maker based in Idaho, and an occasional contributor to The Pipe Collector, the newsletter of the North American Society of Pipe Collectors.

Fuller, who produced pipes under the name TC Fuller, was a self-taught artisan who came to pipe-making from previous careers in boat building and construction. Owing to his expertise in other forms of woodworking, Fuller was especially skilled at selecting well-grained briar and putting it to good use, as can be seen in this particular pipe.

The straight apple was one of Fuller’s favorite pipe shapes, and this one shows off his excellent eye for grain. Polished to a mirror sheen, the bowl’s almost impeccable straight grain is complemented by a black and white acrylic mouthpiece. In pristine condition, this all-American gem will serve as a faithful workhorse for any occasion, and will no doubt look good while doing it.
