The MBSD Meerschaum Silver is our line of silver mounted meerschaum pipes. Using the same high-grade, fast-coloring Turkish meerschaum found on our Deluxe series, these pipes exclusively feature silver army mounts or spigot mounts.
This particular Silver line meerschaum is for those who want something stout and sturdy, with a generous chamber capacity and a general “old world” feel to it. While loosely modeled on the classic poker, the form is closer to a barrel or a tankard, and the finish emulates the “pre-colored” aesthetics of African block meerschaum. This, combined with the pipe’s horn-hued acrylic stem, creates something that wouldn’t look entirely out of place in a Sergio Leone movie. As a final touch, this pipe has a reverse calabash system in its shank, making for cooler, drier smokes no matter now hot and heavy a saloon you might find yourself in.
