The MBSD Meerschaum Silver is our line of silver mounted meerschaum pipes. Using the same high-grade, fast-coloring Turkish meerschaum found on our Deluxe series, these pipes exclusively feature silver army mounts or spigot mounts.
As with many of our meerschaums, this Silver line Rhodesian pays tribute to the stout post-war Rhodesian renditions of post-war briar pipes. There’s a little of the Danish schools, such as is found in the pipes of Svendborg, or Jorn Larsen, and also a little of the Italian workshops, such as Caminetto and Ser Jacopo, as well as some quintessentially Turkish lattice carving. This rendition also features a reverse calabash system nestled within the shank, allowing for even cooler, drier smokes.
