With every batch of MBSD Meerschaum meers we receive, we will keep a few for the purposes of quality control. This large apple was one of them. As you can see in the photos, the color is coming along beautifully. You’d think based on the color that it’s been smoked a lot, but the opposite is true. This meer will likely color faster than any meer you’ve owned, as the meerschaum used was highly porous, and could be referred to as translucent.
