Description
Altinok has been a staple in the market for high-quality, Turkish block meerschaum pipes for over two decades, having been founded by Sinan Altinok in the early 2000s. This particular example from Sinan’s company is an extra-large, almost egg-like stacked Rhodesian, with what is essentially a sterling silver army mount fitted to the end of its shank.
The condition is very good. Minor rim darkening and a couple of small nicks on the outside of the bowl.
