Description

The MBSD Meerschaum Silver is our line of silver mounted meerschaum pipes. Using the same high-grade, fast-coloring Turkish meerschaum found on our Deluxe series, these pipes exclusively feature silver army mounts or spigot mounts.

Stout and stubby Rhodesians are far from new in the world of pipes. But these are more typically found in briar pipes. From the bullmoose shapes of GBD and Peterson to the works of post-war Danish masters, especially those associated with Bjarne Nielsen, such as Ph. Vigen, and Svendborg, such as Jens Tao Nielsen. This Silver line Meerschaum is one of our homages to the latter group, with a figure that is fittingly muscular, while also being compact, exceedingly lightweight. Taking advantage of this muscularity in the shank, the pipe has been fitted with a reverse calabash chamber system, providing an even cooler, drier smoke.
